About Clear Credit Solutions
We are brothers Peter and Daniel Cole, and we run Clear Credit Solutions out of Coffs Harbour on the New South Wales mid north coast. We investigate whether negative listings on a credit file have been recorded correctly and lawfully, and where they have not, we act.
Who we are
Clear Credit Solutions is owned and run by two brothers. Peter and Daniel Cole started the business in 2014 and still work in it every day.
That matters more in this industry than it might in others. Credit repair has a reputation problem, and it was earned by operators who take a fee upfront and disappear. When the people answering the phone are the people whose name is on the business, and whose brother is sitting across the room, the incentives are simply different.
It is also why our clients tend to name us personally when they leave a review, rather than referring to "the company". You are dealing with the people who own the outcome.
We tell you honestly and early whether your file falls into a category we can act on. Where a listing is accurate and correctly recorded, it generally stays, and we will say so rather than take the work.
What we do
We investigate whether negative information on a credit file has been reported accurately, fairly and in line with credit reporting obligations. Not simply whether money was owed.
A default has to be listed correctly to stay: the right notice, to the right address, for the right amount, within the right timeframe. Where that process was not followed, the listing can potentially be corrected or removed.
Repayment History Information recorded in error can drag down a file for years. We assess whether what has been reported reflects what actually happened.
Judgements recorded against a credit file are assessed on their own facts, including whether they were properly recorded in the first place.

Working with brokers
A large share of our work comes through mortgage brokers, and that is deliberate. When a credit issue stalls a deal, we investigate it and hand the client straight back to the broker to finish the loan.
Brokers are the reason we do what we do. It is why you will find us at the major industry conferences, presenting to broker groups, and championing the profession wherever we can.
It is not a slogan. When brokers do well, so do their clients, and that is the whole point.

We do not promise a removal, a higher credit score, a finance approval or a particular timeframe. Every matter is assessed on its own facts. Where a listing is accurate, complete and lawfully recorded, it generally remains on file, and we will tell you that up front rather than pursue it.

Every case is different and depends on the individual situation. As a general guide rather than a fixed promise, the average timeframe to resolve a file is around 30 days.
